Duncan Sykes

Duncan has been sick with this kidney disease for 10 years so he has spent countless days in the hospital. Now, on top of the kidney disease, the drs have diagnosed him with a second disease. As his Aunt Paige stated, he has spent 30 days in the hospital since Thanksgiving.....Baptist has become their home away from home. His mother, Amber Ikner Sykes, of course stays right by his side. She has no other choice but to pay the crazy prices they charge for food....it’s not like she has a mini fridge or microwave in the room. And let’s face it, the hospital trays that Duncan gets to choose from aren’t all that tasty so Amber has to buy him food as well. It doesn’t take long to add up!
