Duncan Demon's David Lewis
Donation protected
Dave Lewis graduated Duncan High School in 1968. An outstanding athlete in all sports, especially football, and received a full scholarship to Wichita State University.
His Sophomore season was soooo outstanding that Gil Brant of the Dallas Cowboys called him personally and told him he was the best defensive end in college football, and they had hopes of getting him!!! On October 2nd, 1970 Dave and his teammates were on a plane heading to Utah State for a game when the plane crashed into the mountains of Colorado killing 29 members of the football team. Dave has had health issue after health issue through life after crawling to safety on that dreaded day, ( 26 surgeries) and has never reached out for help, in fact he still hasn't.
He now is in need of a special type of transfusion to survive his current ordeal, which his insurance will not cover.
There has never been a more kind, funnier, and loving person than Dave, so we ask you to find it in your heart to donate.
