Duleesha's university education

Hi everyone!  :) 

I would like you to meet Duleesha - an exemplary second-year undergraduate at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka (did I mention you need a District ranking to even gain admission to uni in SL?!). 

Her favourite subject is computer science and she likes to play chess when she isn't studying. She has two brothers - a medical student in final year, and an engineering student starting university this year. 


But Duleesha really needs our help to continue university. 

The floods last year destroyed their family crops - their only source of income.

Her family is currrently struggling to support three children. Her father has to do many odd jobs to support their education.
When we met her last December, we found out that she has had to take bank loans to finance a laptop. 
When we asked her what we could get for her and her brothers, she asked for A4 paper and a backpack. It made me sad that these are never things we have ever had to worry about :( 

So, in celebration of my 23rd birthday, I want to take the burden of financing her laptop so that she can focus on her studies in 2018.

Duleesha is such a kind, soft-spoken, hard-working and caring girl. She has to work extra hard to attain all the the things that we might take for granted.

So please help me, help her. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!!!
