Duke's Surgery: A Path to Healing

Hi everyone, on Saturday, March 2, 2025, during the first ball chase of the season, Duke tore the CCL in his left leg. This is the equivalent of our ACL. The cost of TPLO surgery will be about $5,000. I have contributed to GoFundMes in the past but never ever thought I'd be posting one, and I feel silly even doing this. However, I do not have $5,000 sitting around, and I am not able to apply for credit. It would be cheaper to put him down, but I can't because he is family and he means too much to me. Duke is 7 years old, and he is healthy and in good shape. With surgery, they believe he will have another 7-9 years or so. He loves to chase balls, squirrels, and birds, and he has the sweetest disposition. Thank you for your consideration.
