My name is Sharon, aka satby online, and I'm a board member of the Spay Neuter Assistance Program / rescue group in the Michiana area. Since moving to a low income area of South Bend, I've been able to rescue over 20 abandoned cats. Duke just was rescued from the streets at the end of February, and has been enjoying life in a home as a foste cat, but last Thursday he started running a fever. Now he's hospitalized with an unknown infection, and the bills have swamped our normal foster budget. He's still fighting to live, so we're fighting for him, but we need help to cover the costs. Please help, any amount is gratefully received.
