Duke Geery needs surgery

Hi Mark Geery here. My best friend, Duke, is a 3 year old American Bulldog. He was recently diagnosed with OCD: osteochondritis dissecans. This basically means that he has pieces of calcified cartilage floating around in both of his shoulders. The surgery to clean out his shoulder joints is straightforward, arthroscopic and has a very high success rate (>90%). It is also expensive, with imaging and the procedure itself costing over $5,000. Colorado Canine Orthopedics is in Colorado Springs, so there is a travel component to contend with as well. Duke is intermittently lame in his front legs, and as he is a large animal, the doctors expect this lameness to become more severe as he ages. Please help us by donating to his surgery fund!
