For the past year we have been working diligently to bring The Patio Express: Fresh Peruvian Food, to the city of Pico Rivera. However, just days away from opening our doors to our community, a speeding Dodge Charger came in for an unwelcomed drive thru visit. We are devastated, yet grateful.

 

We are grateful for life. To have been able to survive the accident to tell the story. Thankful there were no pedestrians at the time and no severe injuries or fatalities. Grateful for the security film on the windows that was added just 2 months prior, which saved our lives (Yes, we were inside when this occurred). And last, but not least, thankful for the very prompt arrival of our Pico Rivera Police and Fire Departments.

 

The downside: With three (3) employees and ongoing overhead costs piling up we are struggling to stay in business to see this thru the end. Unfortunately, we do not know when these repairs will begin nor how long they will take to complete (estimated 2-3 months). This occurring in midst of a pandemic is only slowing down the process even further. We are asking for your support to keep us alive for just 10 weeks so that we could stand a chance and be able to open once the repairs are complete.
