In Memory of Dudley Nash
Donation protected
On early Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, our family was faced with the devastating news that my uncle, Dudley Nash, was in a car accident in Wyoming that claimed his life, and injured his brother, David Nash, who is in critical condition in Utah. We are still grieving the death of Dudley’s son, Russelle Nash, who lost his battle to cancer this last May.
Dudley was an amazing, extraordinarily selfless and caring man. His sense of
humor was infectious and his laughter would make you smile no matter your mood. His love for animals was intense, and his Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians was a let's say Love/Hate relationship. He cherished his role as a Father, and Grandfather and soon to be Great Grandfather, above all else. Dudley spread his warmth and love to anybody he crossed paths with. The wisdom, and caring words he passed down to his children, will forever guide then as they continue this life without him.
Dudley was a military man, who served in the navy from 1981 to 1988. He was a dedicated truck driver for over 30 years. He basically lived on the road, and ironically, the road is where his life has ended. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
In the wake of this tragedy, his children find themselves faced with unexpected, and
overwhelming, expenses related to helping bring him home. And to his unexpected passing. We are reaching out to our
friends, family, and anyone who knew and loved Dudley for support during this difficult and challenging time.
To assist in covering these expenses, we have set up this GoFundMe page. We kindly ask for your support, no matter how big or small, to help us alleviate the financial strain that has and will be accompanying this immense loss. Your contribution will not only ease the
immediate financial concerns, but also provide space to grieve and
heal as a family. We want to express our deepest gratitude for the kindness and generosity that has already been shown to us. Your support means more to us than words can convey, and it is a testament to the profound impact my uncle had on all of our lives. We are deeply thankful for your
contributions, your comforting words, and your presence during this difficult time.
We kindly request that you consider sharing this GoFundMe link with your friends and family. Your efforts in spreading the word will not only help his family financially, but will also help keep his memory alive and celebrate the incredible person he was.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion, your generosity, and your unwavering support. Together, we can honor the memory of Dudley Wilson Nash and find the strength to navigate this challenging journey of healing. Any additional funds from this gofund me will be directly donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of the battle their brother faced.
