Duck's Surgery

Peetnik Fam,

All of you know Jen Dikeman as the founder of our favorite weekly holiday, “Cheese Wednesdays.”  What you might not know is that for a long, long time she funded this event out of her own pocket. Even now that Peet’s is paying for it, it’s still a labor of love that she goes out and picks up delicious treats for all of us to brighten our week. Not to mention cleaning up after all of us savages. ;)
 
We just found out that Jen’s pup Duck has torn her ACL, poor baby. It’s going to cost $6,500 for surgery and aftercare, and Jen will be out for a couple of weeks nursing her girl back to health. Unbeknownst to Jen, I’ve started a GoFundMe campaign* to help out, and I’m guessing everyone who’s ever enjoyed their brie, grapes, and peanut butter cups on humpday would want to drop some cash in the virtual bucket too.
