I’m raising funds through the Duck Valley Veterans Memorial Project to support the development and completion of the Duck Valley Veterans Memorial in Owyhee, Nevada.
This memorial is intended to honor the men and women of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation who have served our nation with courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Native American veterans have a long and distinguished history of military service while also remaining deeply connected to their families, communities, and cultural traditions. This project will create a permanent place of honor, remembrance, and reflection for veterans, their families, tribal members, and visitors.
Funding will help with the work needed to bring this memorial to completion, including planning, construction, materials, memorial features, site preparation, landscaping, accessibility improvements, ceremonial areas, and other related project expenses. More than a monument, this memorial will be a place where the community can gather for Memorial Day, Veterans Day, military honors, and other ceremonies recognizing those who have served. It will also help preserve and share the legacy of Duck Valley veterans for future generations.
Support is especially important now as we work toward completing the memorial in time for a Veterans Day 2026 dedication. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help move this important project forward and ensure that the sacrifices and accomplishments of Duck Valley veterans are remembered with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Your support will help create a lasting symbol of honor, service, sacrifice, and pride for the Duck Valley community.
