Help needed.

My heart is heavy for a very dear friend of mine.

Many of you know her as Kathy Ventriglia DeAngelis, and more of you know her as The Mama of The Weather Dobe Duce, Duce DeAngelis.

Our friend has had a very difficult year. Kathy has been dealing with many personal issues and health issues, and the loss of her beautiful Lexi (Sissy) and most recently her beloved Duce who bloated (gastric dilation). It's been emotional and financial whiplash.

Thankfully, because she is such an amazing dog mama, she saved his life. Expenses are piling up, yet she makes sure she provides for her dogs before herself.

Kathy is a very private and proud person and would never ask for help.

But she needs help. So please, I'm asking for some help for her. Kathy is a good person and I want to help her get through this.

We all have financial difficulties and we all have moments in our life where we just can't breathe.

During those moments is when things just seem to pile up. And at this moment for my dear friend, things are piling up, she needs some help. And she needs some emotional and financial help.

Just a little kindness and love can make a huge difference.

Let her hear our voices and feel our love and support. Let's help get her through this difficult time.

I know that when things get better, Kathy will do everything in her power to return the love and give back any way she can.

I know because she's been a great friend to me and my family.

I've started a GoFundMe to help her get through this difficult time. And I am asking that my friends donate whatever they can.

She's always been there for me. And one of the first people I call in the middle of the night if I'm in crisis or my dogs are in a bad way.

Kathy is one of those rare gems that you find once in a lifetime that doesn't throw the term friendship around lightly. But when she is your friend, she's your friend for life. Her loyalty and love have no bounds.

She's given her entire life to those less fortunate and her beloved Dobermans.

She needs our help.
