The Dubtown Cosmonauts are an ever-evolving jamband collective, with well over a decade of performing, recording, touring and throwing events, featuring a wide array of local Wilmington musicians, artists, and songwriters. Dubbed, "DUBTOWN" aka UNC"W" aka Wilmington consisting of a wide collective of local artistry, the band continues to grow, performing live, touring, throwing unique events, and recording and releasing original music.

 

We're proud to announce our 2nd album "Tunes from the Lagoon" is almost out!!!!! We just need a little help paying some bills for it :) A little help from a lot of great friends and fam could go a long way! We intend to push out this music as hard as we can in hopes that you all get to hear it and enjoy it! We love creating new music for you all!

 

We intend to use raised money to help us pay for recording expenses like studio production and time spent working on the music. It adds up the amount of time you spend in the studio, at home working, debating over mixing and edits! :)

 

We intend to pay guest musicians on the album and everyone involved, like our recording engineer, Keith Sweezy. Keith has been working TIRELESSLY on this album to make it sound as great as possible and we really appreciate him for that.

 

We intend to pay for distribution of the album so we can get it to as many listeners as possible! Payments will go towards CD and vinyl production, online distribution, radio and press, posts/blogs/writeups and other misc promotional materials. We're working on a fun promotional video for the album release now! ;-)

 

We intend to have a fully functioning website with our albums for sale, as well as have all new merchandise -- and intend to continue to use local artists for our designs, printing, and manufactoring!
