In Loving Memory of Stephen "Chip" Chipman
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Chipman, lovingly known as "Chip," "Bubsie," or "Dubsie Boo." Chip passed away peacefully on Wednesday night, January 22, 2025.
The family will communicate funeral details, locations, etc. at a time that is convenient.
Without question, Chip’s presence was one of a kind, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless memories. His family—especially his son Mitchell and his grandson, Maxwell "Cornbread" Chipman—are grieving, and we ask for your help in carrying this grief and financial burden.
Chip was born on August 1st, 1960 and graduated from Westbrook High School in 1978. He worked at Sappi Mill for 45 years. He loved rooting for the NY Giants and the Boston Red Sox. He loved watching sports and passing his fandom onto his son, Mitchell. Chip was especially excited to be able to meet the newest Chipman sports fanatic, his grandson, Maxwell!
How You Can Help:
We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for financial assistance to help with funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, and day-to-day costs for Mitchell and his family as they navigate this loss.
Please send thoughts, prayers, messages of support, and any cherished memories you may have of Chip. Your words, love and memories are helpful.
A sincere thank you to those who have already reached out, prayed, and offered condolences. Mitchell appreciates the kindness.
Thank you so very much
