Three weeks ago my Gene "Moose" Dubonnet went into the hospital with covid pneumonia. They did everything they could, but the pneumonia took over his lungs. They moved him to ICU and had to put him on a ventilator 2 weeks ago. This is where the rollercoaster ride really started. Some days were better than others, but the good ones were still bad. A few days ago, things started looking up and they tried to wean him off the ventilator. When they took him out of sedation they realized he wasn’t responding. After A CT scan of his brain and lungs, they found he suffered a massive stroke and has bleeding on his brain. They are doing everything they can to keep him comfortable and are in the process of moving him to another hospital to have surgery to reduce the swelling. Right now we have a very small chance of him coming out of this and living a normal life and we need everyone to help us pray. We need a miracle. Yesterday he under went brain surgery. Shortly after his surgery he was following commands with both of his eyes, and the right side of his body. They said he would be able to talk and comprehend. He will need a lot of physical therapy and now we need to focus on him healing and focus on taking care of his lungs. Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers.
