On Sunday 25th October 2026 I will be taking on the Dublin Marathon. This is my first ever marathon (and possibly my last lol) So I thought it would be a good idea to try and raise some money for an incredible centre based in Altnagelvin Hospital.

Many families, unfortunately, have had to watch loved ones go through treatment for cancer. The help, support and care, that is given by the NW Cancer centre is essential in the fight against this disease.

In recent weeks there has been some sad news within my family.
Firstly the passing of the legend, uncle Mark ‘the shark’ Sharkey who fought bravely against cancer.

Secondly, the news came out that cousin, Mickey Walsh has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer at just the age of 30. Treatment from the NW Cancer centre will be vital for Mickey as he starts his battle.

So I am asking for donations, no matter how big or how small, every penny will help this fantastic service provide crucial care for anyone currently battling cancer or who have beaten cancer with the help of NW Cancer Centre.
