Dube's Doggies

I am fundraising on the behalf of the Dube family's 3 dogs. Ron and Kelly Dube were struck and killed by a wrong-way drunk driver Tuesday night on I-55. Both did not survive the accident. They are survived by their 4 children and 3 dogs.

My husband and I have been involved in rescue for some years now and offered to take the dogs in until the family is able to sort things out. Now that we have them, we would like to get them fully vetted, which obviously comes at a cost. The youngest dog is a male named Dillinger (black lab/shepard mix seen above). As of now, he is unaltered. He is our main priority right now. Getting him neutered. I have a group of wonderful friends and family helping by contacting local vets, telling the Dube's story and asking for help. Whether it be discounted rates for getting them vetted, or offering their services pro bono. All have offered to make them appointments, but NONE have offered to help with the costs.

This is why I am here writing this. Asking for help to cover the costs of getting all 3 dogs seen by a vet, vaccinated, and getting Dillinger neutered.

I ask that you share this fundraiser, donate, and/or reach out to your vet to ask for help for this family. The Dube's family has been flipped upside down. We would love to take the dogs health and well-being off their shoulders. As they are grieving and have many more things on their plates and minds at this time.
