Duane Daniel

Hi, my name is Sara Brewer and I am setting up this fundraiser for the Daniel Family.

On July 1st, it started as a regular day but ended at Presby Dallas in ICU.

Duane Daniel suffered a stroke of the left Anterior Cerebral Artery. Which effected his right leg & arm function. He can flex his foot, wiggle his toes & is able to resist some pressure. He just can’t lift that leg or stand on it. He can squeeze with his right hand, but is unable to lift it. He has Speech Aphasia-meaning he’s unable to verbalize. He is in tgerpy to learn how to talk again. He even sang a few days ago. Wow, what a blessing it was to hear that. He is strong and determined and has shown this everyday since. He can feed himself, eat & drink. We are so thankful for that. He is making great progress and will be moved to a a cute rehab facility any day now.

He has a long road ahead but he’s strong & determined!

They are so incredibly thankful for each one of you that has reached out and for the many prayers sent his way! They can feel them! We serve a mighty God and know he has his hands on Duane and the family as they navigate this new normal they have been faced with.

So many gracious people are asking how can they help. I thought this would be the best way to reach as many people as possible to try and lift some of the financial burden off of them. Duane is a Garland Firefighter/paramedic and and will be out of work for some time recovery. He has served the area for many many years, now it’s our time to help our Hero!

The Daniel’s love each of you so much and are so appreciative of all you guys have done already! We will keep you updated here with how is he doing!
