Hi, I am a single mum with a 1 year old boy, we currently live out of town and due to unfortunate circumstances we no longer have access to a car, moving into town is ideal for us so we can be in walking distance of everything we need, where we are it is a 15 and 30 minute drive roughly to the two closest towns each direction, or it would take 7 hours or 3 hours to walk along the highway to get to either town. Where we are is also not an area that coles or woolworths deliver to so that is not an option for groceries, australia post and others also do not deliver here, they will leave our mail at the post office.. I can pay people to come pick me up and take me shopping here and there but I can't rely on that every time we need something. It has become a very stressful situation and very concerning having a 1 year old without a car incase an emergency arises, hopefully in the time it takes me to save enough money nothing like that happens.

I am seeking help to pay for:

*bond and 2 weeks rent

*Moving costs including a truck hire and paying someone to help

* Car

I have tried getting all different types of loans but as I am only on a parenting payment I can't seem to get approved for the amount that I need from anywhere

I am currently saving every bit of money I have left over after paying bills and I have calculated it will take me a little under 2 years to get the amount I need that would be comfortable to move without saving for a car.

I am looking to move to an area 5 hours away from where we are for a few different reasons including, a specific school for my son and be able to have access to everything we may need in a busier area, there will be alot more opportunities for us in many ways. Which is the main reason I would prefer to save the money to move first. Hopefully I can work on gaining a vehicle after the move.

Gaining paid employment is not an option for me at the moment as my son is too young and I want to be with him 100% of the time until he is old enough to start kindergarten, I constantly look for work from home jobs and also have been trying to work on how I can start my own small business from home, not having luck as of yet and not having a car now has become the main reason I can't start my small business yet.
