To the most incredible family, friends and our connected community:
We, the family and friends of John Mitchell, are asking for your help! If you have ever met John, you know what a selfless, loyal, uplifting and loving human being he is. He is so full of life and has been busy just trying to live it!
Over Labor Day weekend, John suffered a catastrophic hypertensive episode, which left him in a coma like state for a week. It was so heartbreaking to see him in ICU and on a ventilator. For days he did not respond at all to doctors, nurses, friends or family. I know all of you made the difference with constant prayers. John had family, friends, congregations and strangers praying for his recovery.
While his condition appears largely reversible, his medical needs and expenses are not. He will require on-going care for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, his insurance through the Veteran’s Administration does not cover such care.
Your generous contribution will make the difference in providing for his medical care and living expenses while he recuperates. One person giving $100 can provide a little care, a tribe contributing will not only have a significant impact on John’s overall care but make it possible to help create a healthy, whole, and revitalized life he deserves!
We thank you for your incredible and selfless support for our brother, a devoted father to two young beautiful children, Charlie and Katie. He is a self-employed businessman who has worked diligently to provide for his family even while enduring medical crises.
His Fabry’s disease caused the loss of his own kidneys along with a myriad of other Fabry’s related health issues. John gives tirelessly of himself, considering the needs of family and friends before his own. It is time he receives back all the love and devotion he has displayed his entire life.
We are forever grateful for your immense generosity. A huge heartfelt THANK YOU for your support and continued prayers!!!
