DTW Food Industry Relief Fund

My name is Bryttany Hyde, the floor manager at Rootstock & Vine in Downtown Woodstock. As a furloughed service industry employee in Downtown Woodstock, I see firsthand the need that has arisen due to the pandemic COVID-19.

During my final shift, I knew that this pandemic was not only affecting our restaurant but all of the restaurants in Downtown Woodstock. Knowing that we all would be struggling I began a Facebook group to connect to others like me and the community who support our city. From there I started this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial strain on the staff in Downtown Woodstock who have lost hours and have had their salary impacted by COVID-19.

Applicants will be funded via Zelle, Check, CashApp, or Venmo with an award amount up to a maximum of $500 per person. Not every applicant will receive their full requested amount but the goal is to give every applicant an award based on funding. 

The first round of applications began on 4/13/2020 and closed on 4/19/2020. 
The funding for those applications will be given in three phases dependent on funding.
The first phase began funding on 4/20/2020 with the goal of completion by 4/26/2020. 
The second phase will begin 4/27/2020 with the goal of completion by 5/3/2020. 
The third phase will be dependent on funding. 

All applications, donations, withdrawals, and funding will be kept in a spreadsheet kept on my Google Drive. The process for funding will begin with funds withdrawn from GoFundMe to my Delta Community Credit Union account and then sent via Zelle, Check, CashApp, or Venmo to the various applicants. All outlined on the spreadsheets and screenshots from the various apps.
