Hello, my name is Rhonda and I'm needing to raise money for my 5-year-old grandson Zack and his parents, Brian and Lonita.

Last Monday, April 21st, Zack woke up not feeling well. Over the next few days, he continued to get worse. My son took him to his doctor on Wednesday. The doctor said he had a stomach virus. Throughout the evening and night, he got even worse, complaining of stomach pain. Thursday, my son took him to the ER. They stated he had a bowel blockage and sent him to Children's Hospital about an hour away. While there, they discovered he does have a blocked bowel, but also his appendix had burst. They did surgery Friday to put a drain in to get all the infection out. It wasn't working as well as they hoped, so they did another surgery today, April 28th, to remove what was left of the appendix and manually clean out all the infection and stuff that was in there. He is still not out of the woods, and they are closely monitoring him so he doesn't turn septic.

Zack's parents and older brother Lucas are down there with him. They cannot work as they are with Zack. Trying to raise money for them to stay there with Zack, for hotel and food costs, as they have depleted what money they have already being there for 5 days and will be there for at least another week, if not more.

Update....2nd surgery helped a lot. They took the nose tube out and he's starting to get real food. He's had a popsicle and juice. Hopefully his stomach handles it well. Getting better ever DAY

UPDATE!!

Z is doing so good. He's walking the halls but still has stomach pain so doesn't walk for very long. Eating a regular diet and keeping it down. Really hoping he's coming home soon! I know he's tired of being there but they are able to control his pain. Keep the prayers coming and a big Thank You for the donations. They have really helped
