Our family is heartbroken to share that my brother-in-law, Manuel, was recently shot multiple times while working, doing Doordash— something he’s always done with pride and dedication. In a senseless and cowardly act, he was viciously attacked him. He is an honest, humble, and hard-working man who never hesitates to lend a hand or bring a smile to others with his humor and kindness.

This devastating act has turned his world upside down. Doctors say he is very lucky to have survived the amount of gun shot wounds he received and he now faces a long and challenging road to recovery — one that will require immense strength, patience, and support. Manuel is a devoted husband and father to three beautiful daughters who need him more than ever.
