Medical Expenses
In 2015 I was in a serious car accident when a drunk kid ran a stop sign in front of me. I suffered a concussion, which has had lasting side effects that have gotten worse in the past year.
Starting at the end of 2018, I've had events every couple months where I would become weak, disoriented, dizzy, nauseous, and collapse sometimes too weak to speak. Doctors up to this point have been less than helpful at anything except running up medical diagnostic fees, and after one incident I was too weak to refuse the paramedics who transported me to a hospital. That was a $1200 car ride two blocks away.
I don't make the kind of money I need to repay these debts within a year, and up to now I've completely ignored the ambulance bill. I've had cardiac stress tests, X-rays, blood work, multiple consultations, and an MRI which have been necessary to rule out serious health risks. The total of my medical costs as of 7/6/19 is $2,049.29 plus an additional $1,200 for the ambulance. Without assistance, the ambulance bill will go to collections and money spent on the other debt is preventing me from repaying debts accrued while I was unemployed.
What's my plan? If I can raise $1,200 quickly enough, I can pay the ambulance (something I wouldn't be able to do at all). If I can I'd like to raise the $2,000 before September, which is when a loan for oral surgery comes due (I'm having trouble paying both at the same time).
Why fund me? Do you like horror games? Because to advertise and raise money for this I've recently started a Youtube series. Each episode has me either play or review a horror game, with an emphasis on smaller titles over big budget productions.
