DTS fundraiser, Ålesund Norway

-Introduction

Hello to everyone who is reading this, my name is Daniel.

I was born in Ukraine and was raised by a Ukrainian father and Dutch mother. In the last few years before the and during the war I volunteered at Christian children camps, including those for special needs children. I also have gone on humanitarian trips to city's which are close to the frontline to bring aid and spread the gospel.

And I’m fundraising for my Discipleship Training School (DTS) program in Alesund, Norway!

This is a 6-month school that has a lecture phase and an outreach phase. This DTS program is from the Christian organisation Youth With a Mission (YWAM).

-My motivation:

You may ask why I want to do this program.

Well, I always considered doing a bible school of some sort, I always had a big urge to study and understand the word of God. After some searching and looking for the right place, I see that God has provided me with an amazing opportunity to go through this DTS. Through it I want to build an even stronger connection with Jesus. Also, I want to get out of my comfort zone and be equipped with all the tools needed to go and spread the Gospel in whatever situation I end up in.

-Finances

So, let us talk about finances.

The total amount for the DTS program 8.400$. Almost half of the amount I cover from my personal savings and support of parents. This amount cover's food, a place to stay, and tickets for the outreach, all of which is provided within this amount. My goal is to raise 4.500$.
