Help Adam Fight Leukemia
Donation protected
Please help support Adam as he undergoes treatment for B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He was diagnosed just a few weeks after his 2nd birthday on 10/26/24 after having a bone marrow biopsy as a follow up to a hospitalization for severe anemia earlier that week. Since receiving this news, my husband John and I have experienced a whirlwind of emotions and changes to our lives that we never expected. He has been in and out of the hospital this past month for treatment and a couple unexpected hospitalizations. I have had to stop working to provide full time care for Adam and John has to continue to work to maintain our health insurance benefits. We are extremely fortunate that I am receiving support from my employer and John has been able to utilize intermittent FLMA to help with hospital visits and to help with caring for Adam. The outpouring of love and support we have felt from our family and friends is truly amazing.
Adam has an excellent prognosis given his age and early response to treatment and on 11/26/24 we learned that he has gone into remission. We received this news with great relief, however the treatment is long and aggressive for ALL and we are expecting his full course of care to last about 2.5 years. The unexpected long term cost has been difficult to wrap our heads around. We are asking for help with some of the costs including expected and unexpected hospital stays, surgeries/procedures, prescriptions and medical supplies which will add up over the course of treatment. Any donation will make a huge difference in supporting Adam's medical expenses and ease the burden on our family during this challenging time.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you so much!
