Rehabilitation of Fury

This is a story about my Fury.

Fury is a sweet, energetic, and kind puppy who was dealt an unlucky hand with her health. This is my shot at giving her a chance at a normal life.

Her story starts on Thursday, February 15th when she dislocated her shoulder for the first time. I took her to the vet and to my relief her shoulder was put back into place. But, unfortunately, it did not last long as it dislocated again only a few days later.

Fury was then taken to an orthopedist and advised to undertake surgery as soon as possible. Her ligaments were torn and her shoulder socket was shallow which meant it would “hang” all the time if nothing was done.

On February 27, Fury had her first shoulder surgery (€1,600) which resulted in three screws in her leg, new ligaments and the hope of a bright future. The operation was successful. She was doing great, her rehab was going well and we were enjoying our lives again. That is until her shoulder luxation returned yet again. Fury underwent another surgery - this time with a better stabilisation method and stronger ligaments. However, they were not strong enough for Fury as her shoulder dislocated yet again 12 days after her second surgery. Now, following 3 shoulder dislocations and 2 surgeries Fury needs to undergo a third operation (Arthrodesis). I will not give up on her. I turn to all of you for help as I would give her the world and the chance for a better life if I could. I cannot afford another procedure on my own and would deeply appreciate your financial support and help in making her future that much brighter.
