Funeral & Transport of Aldous Harris, Jr.

This GoFundMe is to assist with the costs associated with funeral arrangements and transport of Aldous Harris, Jr.  Al was originally from Indianapolis, IN but spent the last 4 years of his life in Arizona. His family will travel and bring him back home to Indiana for burial, and we are anticipating costs above the typical costs of funeral services. *All funding will go directly to Al’s mother, Keona Moore.

 

Aldous was a talented and boisterous spirit who managed to have an impact on everyone who knew him. A senior at McClintock High School in Phoenix, Al took interest in the arts as an active participant in theatre and band. Al was also an activist, leading community protests against racial and social injustice. Anxious to enter the next phase of his life, Al was in the process of applying for colleges, hoping to attend an HBCU and study theatre or ultimately become a mortician.

 

On Monday, October 25, 2021, Al was killed in a car accident, along with the 2-year old niece of a close friend. We are heartbroken that their lives were cut short in such a tragic incident.
