Hi everyone.
As the world and our own communities are facing a crisis that is causing fear, isolation, and claiming the lives of innocent people, we are humbled and hesitant to ask for help. We recognize that resources are scarce and there is only so much left to give. However, our values and hearts demand that we fight for the lives of every living creature, especially the life of our companion that we have grown to love and cherish.

As some of you may know, Yvette, and her fiancé, Tamar, recently adopted a 12-week old pup from Baja California. We were told that he was anemic and had diarrhea, but was otherwise a healthy boy. We were told that he was thriving and ready to take on the world. On only his second day with us, we noticed he
was not eating, his diarrhea had not improved, and he was extremely lethargic. We rushed him to the emergency department and were sent home with antibiotics and a $700 dollar pet bill. We hoped that his infection was bacterial in nature and that the antibiotics would solve all of his problems. Unfortunately, the antibiotics only helped imp
rove his appetite and stools. After a few more days, we noticed that he was struggling to breathe, and rushed him back to the emergency department. He is now fighting for his life, in isolation, on an oxygen machine.

With each minute that passes, we are hoping that he can return to our home and live the loving life that we were meant to provide him. However, that may only be possible with help from you. His vet bills are adding up to thousands, and we are financially grappling with the reality that costs may become too high for us to afford. We are asking for donations, of any amount---no amount is too small.

Thank you,
Tamar & Yvette
