Nicole graduated from Texas A&M where she majored in elementary educated and graduated with top honers just last year. She did all this while raising four amazing children of her own with the tireless support of her husband, Chris. See a picture of Chris, Nicole and their family below. Now she teaches a kindergarten class with 20 of her "little humans" that she absolutely adores. She is attending graduate school in her spare time. It is unknown whether or not she will be able to continue working next year or not. She does have some insurance, but not enough!! Her weekly appointments are running from a couple of hundred into the thousands out of pocket. Every Week!
We are blessed with a couple of angels on earth including her hubby, her sister and a family friend who has universal blood type and have offered their kidneys, so we hope to get the new kidney in as soon as possible because Nicole is feeling awful and has no energy now. The money will go towards expensive testing just before the dialysis (now), the dialysis itself, kidney transplant and recovery time and living and the astronomically expensive medicines she will need to on for for life after surgery. My promise to anyone who donates is that if we are ever able, we will pay it all forward. Blessings to you! I will send updates as they become available!
