So I was walking alongside the road (no sidewalks) when a car hit me from behind. Luckily, the car wasn't going fast, or I would have been thrown who knows how far. It nipped my back, and the tire ran over my ankle. As I was lying on the ground, the car backed up, and the tire ran over my arm. I'm so lucky because I could feel the heat of the tire near my face, and had my hair gotten caught, I know my head would have been run over as well. I had a total dislocation of my elbow as well as a fracture of the radial head, and because it was run over, they call it a crushing blow. It wrenched my neck, my shoulder, my lower back, and sprained my ankle. I feel very lucky to be alive.
Lately, I've been unlucky. I was mowing and was impaled in my leg; luckily, it didn't hit anything serious. My hot water heater is also going out, but I can take cold water. I can go without all the extras. I can't go without electricity and water and the basics of life, like food on the table since I can't work right now. Any little amount would be so greatly appreciated. Even 50 cents or a dollar would help.
I can't pay my bills this month and really have nowhere else to turn. I have always been the one to try and help others, and it's hard to ask for help for myself.
Thank you for listening. Sending love and positive vibes out to everyone that is struggling.
