Many of you know the amazing lady Afring Pascual, a loving mother to two great kids and a friend to many. She's done so much for people in being a nurse for your families and friends at St.Vincent's for many, many years. Now, a retired nurse, but nevertheless always helping the people around her. Just recently, Afring was on vacation in Europe with her friends when she was having breathing issues and had to be sent to the hospital in St.Petersburg, Russia and was intubated with complications. Although she is receiving care at a Medical Center in Russia, the standards of care don't compare to quality she can receive in the United States. Also, she needs to be home with her kids, her family, and her friends for support. A medflight over sees will cost skywards towards 90-100k. What would you do if this was your mother at the hospital? If it was my mother, I would spend every penny I could, to get her back home, but unfortunately there is just not enough money  for Afring. With your helping hands, you can help bring home Afring to her kids, family, and friends. Every penny counts and will mean the world.
