Support Renée's Family in Their Time of Loss

Hello Everyone,
I am reaching out and setting up this GoFundMe in hopes of helping a family that is in dire need right now. My name is Patti, and I am a close friend of Elizabeth Renèe Reece Gould.
Most of us knew her as Renée. She recently passed away on March 8th, just one week shy of her 67th birthday. Renée was a beautiful person inside and out, and at the time of her death, she had been raising her grandson Jeremiah, who is 13.
In the last 5 years of her life, she had experienced so much grief. She had lost one of her two sisters, Tamré, her husband of 36 years, Kevin, her young daughter, Lauren, and after that, her dear mother. Things after that were never the same.
On February 3rd, she was rushed by ambulance to the hospital emergency room with severe back pain, which we now know was just a precursor to a massive heart attack, which she had shortly after arriving, along with pneumonia. She was put on life support, and things got worse. Her kidneys failed, she had to be put on dialysis, and after having an NG tube, she had aspiration pneumonia, which had turned into Strep Pneumococcal pneumonia with RSV-b and became septic.
Hope was all but lost when the doctors told her sister Tiá and sons Alex and Jordan that they had done all they could do, and then she passed away.
Her sister Tiá spent every day, all day with Renée, living at a hotel nearby the hospital for a month. She also has an adult special needs child who lives with her that requires 24-hour care. This is something Tiá provides for her son. She had to hire in-home medical care for him since she was with her sister at the hospital.
She also had to come up with the money to pay her sister's household expenses and also had to hire help with moving Renée’s things from the house she lived in. She is drained financially and honestly has no idea what she’s going to do.
Also, Renée’s sons had to take many days off in order to be with their mom. Jeremiah has since moved in with his uncle and is beginning a new life, trying to figure out how to live without his grandmother, the only stable thing he’s ever known.
Renée is from a small town in Oregon and only retired a few months ago from Jim’s Supermarket in Banks, where her customers knew her as a kind, beautiful person who will be sadly missed. She lived in Forest Grove her entire life and attended school there. Her father, Bob Reece, was a high school teacher and coach who passed away previously. The money is just not there, and if possible, her family would like to have a service for her. Please, if possible, open your hearts in any way possible.
Thank you so much,
Tiá, Alex, Jordan, and Jeremiah
