Hi, my name is Betty. If you are here, you most likely know me. Well, maybe not personally but you know me through my art. You know that I’m passionate about crafting and creating beautiful art with my hands and bringing joy to my clients. Being a part of their birthdays and accomplishments was the most rewarding to me. You might not know that I have a beautiful 13-year-old son that has Autism and needs his mommy. My husband and I have been together for 23 years. He is my rock. One day we were living our lives, planning for the future and the next we were in a doctor’s office being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. That’s something that we never plan for because who plans for that? Today I can’t find the words to ask if you can find it in your heart to HELP ME BEAT CANCER. Those words seem surreal coming out of my mouth but unfortunately, I must face reality and be strong and face this pebble on the road with my face raised high. I know that I’m not alone, I have a beautiful family and beautiful community in all of you. The funds that are donated will be used to pay all my medical bills. Hola, mi nombre es Betty. Puede que no sepas que tengo un hermoso hijo de 13 años que tiene autismo y necesita a su mami. Mi esposo y yo hemos estado juntos por 23 años. Un día estábamos viviendo nuestras vidas, planeando para el futuro y al siguiente estábamos en el consultorio de un médico siendo diagnosticados con cáncer de mama. Eso es algo que nunca planeamos porque quién planea para eso. Hoy no puedo encontrar las palabras para preguntarte si puedes encontrarlo en tu corazón para AYUDARME A VENCER EL CÁNCER. Esas palabras parecen surrealistas saliendo de mi boca, pero desafortunadamente, debo enfrentar la realidad y ser fuerte y enfrentar este pierda en el camino con mi rostro en alto. Sé que no estoy sola, tengo una hermosa familia y comunidad en todos ustedes. Los fondos que se donen se utilizarán para pagar todas mis facturas médicas.
