On July 14th (his birthday of all days), my nephew Justin Snell, who is a cherished family member and friend to many, had to undergo an emergency surgery to save his life and have his lower left leg amputated. His surgery was successful, and he is healing, but he has a very long road of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of him. As a small and sometimes struggling business owner, Justin is unable to afford health insurance, yet as a business owner, he does not qualify for assistance, and the medical bills are going to start piling up rapidly from here on out. Justin has always been a huge supporter of both the dog and disc golf communities, stepping up to be a donor in fundraising events, committing his time, and just supporting others in any way that he is able, now I am asking that his friends and family from those communities band together and help support him in his time of need. We all know how expensive medical bills can be, even with insurance, anything you can spare would be so greatly appreciated. Any money donated is being deposited directly into Justin's business account, so he is the only one with access to it. If you can't donate financially, consider donating your time...once he is healed up a bit more and ready for it, he'll need help with PT, rides to appointments, people to stay with him while Jenn is at work, and easily prepared meals for the family. Any help you can give will gladly be accepted during these next several months. Thank you.
