Saving Bruce

Hey everyone!

If you know Bruce then you know he is the gentlest, sweetest, and silliest boy ever. He also loves food so much, he eats everything. When I babysat him I kept finding stuff he stole off of the counter (he’s very sneaky) that he piled up on his bed storing it for later (this is how I knew something was wrong)

A few days ago Bruce starting coughing but was still acting normal. Tonight Amanda called me and said he was acting weird, and stopped over to grab some medicine I had for him. When we got him in the yard he wouldn’t take any food, (not even pepperoni) sit or lay down, he was having a hard time breathing, and was drooling nonstop. I said she needed to get him to the vet as soon as she could because he’s wasn’t looking good. Amanda went to a vet, but they sent her two hours away (at 9pm), because all local emergency vets turned her away. Bruce needs to be hospitalized at the emergency center and needs oxygen. The low end of the quote they gave her over the phone was $10,000. Amanda isn’t one to ask for help from others, and I understand that because it’s not an easy thing to do.. Especially because everything is so expensive right now, and difficult for many people. I decided to try and make this for her, and hopefully some people might be able to donate to his care. If you can help, even a little bit it would be so appreciated for not only Bruce to feel better, but also for Amanda to recover a bit. Any and all funds will go to Bruce’s care, and possibly Lucy who is beginning to show similar symptoms but not as severe. Thank you everyone!
