DSC Educator and RN in need - Claudia Fontaine

Hello All - My name is Sam Johnson, and I'm asking for assistance on behalf of Claudia Fontaine. My fellow students and I are fortunate to have had Claudia as one of our nursing instructors. She is a Registered Nurse and graduate of Bethune Cookman University. She is also a long-time Educator at Daytona State College's Bob & Carol Allen School of Nursing. She is an active volunteer in her children's schools and is an advisor for student-led organizations within DSC. She has a huge heart, a genuine interest in the well-being of her students, and is dedicated to serving her community.

It's time for us to give back to Claudia.

Like so many others in Daytona Beach, she and her family suffered complete flooding of her home, displacing her, her husband, three children, and her mother. Her home and nearly all material possessions were lost. Despite all of this, she returned to campus this week to offer her support to her students and colleagues.
