We are grateful that our team members in Texas and their families are relatively unharmed and safe. We have heartfelt concerns for those who have experienced loss and damage to their homes, vehicles and other belongings.
There has been an outpouring of support from DSC employees across the country – everyone is asking how to help. In response to this generous spirit of giving, we are implementing a DSC Logistics Disaster Relief Fund to help members of our team in those areas that have been declared as disasters. This will allow all DSC employees across the country to contribute money to help our colleagues with their financial losses.
DSC LOGISTICS DISASTER RELIEF FUND
The DSC Logistics Disaster Relief Fund is designed to assist DSC employees who have suffered a financial loss due to Hurricane Harvey. The program enables all employees across DSC Logistics to make contributions by credit or debit card via this GoFundMe page that we've created to provide relief for fellow employees impacted by the hurricane. DSC will match these contributions, dollar for dollar. All employee donations to the fund are eligible for matching, up to a maximum total match of $15,000.00.
Funds collected under this program, as well as the match, will be paid to eligible employees in the form of cash grants to help them recover from financial hardship related to Harvey. Grants are intended to help employees with hardships such as repairs to homes and vehicles, expenses related to establishing new housing, clothing for themselves and family members to replace what has been lost, etc.

This GoFundMe page will be live and accepting donations from Friday, September 8 through Friday, September 22.
DSC employees impacted by the hurricane can apply for grants from Friday, September 8 through Friday, October 6.
The DSC Disaster Relief Grant Committee will be meeting on a weekly basis to review grant requests and to make determinations for issuing grants as quickly as possible.
The sooner you contribute, the sooner the committee can get to work reviewing and approving the grant requests! Any remaining funds not paid out to employees under this program by October 31, 2017 will be donated to charitable organizations directly engaged in Harvey relief efforts at the direction of the Grant Committee.
