At just 41 years old and away from her Swedish roots, our dear friend Jenny is facing several months of surgeries after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in late 2019. Jenny is incredibly humble and independent, and she has not asked for any help through all of this. With her upbeat personality and interest in living life to the fullest every day, you could never imagine this struggle she is going through when you meet her! Jenny is a truly admirable person, a hiker, kayaker, camper and avid horsewoman in the small Tryon, NC community.
Jenny's diagnosis has severely impacted her livelihood of training horses and teaching horseback riding lessons. With strong passion and drive, she has pursued a horseback riding career despite life on a "shoestring budget." Equestrian jobs are often misunderstood and considered glamorous, when in reality they require long hours of extensive physical exertion and a long list of expensive bills! Your donation will help Jenny get through this next year of surgeries and chemotherapy while her health is compromised.
Thank you for your donation - each one is truly appreciated!
