I started this page to help Michael “MikeyD” DeSantis raise money to help with medical bills and monthly expenses.

On 8/12/2025 Michael slipped and fell on a rainy day and damaged his rotator cuff, glenoid labrum, biceps tendon, and myotendinous along with a few other tears. He is scheduled for surgery on October 14th, after recovery from surgery he will then be in physical therapy. Recovery time and therapy are expected to be around nine months to one year.

This will help him keep on top of his monthly expenses without any added stress & will allow him to focus on his healing.

Here’s a breakdown of his minimum monthly expenses:

Rent: $1236.00, Cellphone: $117.00, Car insurance: $134.00, Utilities: approx. $175.00, Groceries: $400.00, Misc. items: $150.00, Credit card payments (medical bills) $400.00

In total, that’s roughly $2600.00 per month, and he simply does not have it.

He is doing everything he can, including selling personal items, exhausting savings, and using credit cards, but he has reached a point where more help is needed.

If Michael's recovery goes faster than doctors expected and he is able to return to work, this page will be shut down but as of now this is where he sits.
