Let’s Get Our Girls to Tour—One Litter Pick at a Time!
Friday pm 21st and Saturday 22nd March.
Hey there, fabulous folks of the Forest!
The Drybrook U14s rugby team is on a mission, and no, we’re not just practicing our tackles or perfecting our passes. We’re out there picking up litter like pros to raise funds for our epic rugby tour!
Now, we’ve already been hustling our hearts out with fundraising, but guess what? We’re still just over £4,000 short! So, we thought: why not turn rubbish into riches?
Our 26 amazing girls, who represent the Forest with pride (and some pretty impressive talent!), are on a quest to beautify our beloved Cinderford while earning their way to tour glory! We’ll be scavenging the hedgerows, fences, and verges around Brodmoor Road, Forest Vale Road, and Steam Mills Road.
And hey, we’ll even be giving some love to the businesses off Forest Vale Road! So if you see us, feel free to toss a little support our way—every penny counts! Just think of it as donating to a great cause while getting rid of unwanted rubbish. It’s a win-win!
Let’s band together and get these girls on tour so they can showcase their skills, make unforgettable memories, and maybe even take home some silverware (or at least some fabulous selfies)!
Ready to jump on board? Let’s turn this litter pic into a litter pick of awesomeness!
