Dry July to help Luca & his family fight Leukemia

For those of you that know us, you know that we don’t mind a drink... or an open bar! So for the six of us to all go dry for a month, it‘s a tough notion. However, this is nowhere near as tough as what others have to go through.
Meet our little friend Luca. He's 10 yrs old and he has a rare form of leukemia known as Philadelphia chromosome-positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). It only affects about 3-5% of children that present with leukemia and what this means is Luca will need additional treatment for targeted therapy, on top of the standard chemotherapy treatment, which will make it that extra bit tougher for the little man. He's signed up for a clinical trial, and we can only hope that this will expand the world’s understanding of this horrible blood cancer!
With this in mind we; Marijana, Jackie, Byron, Aston, Ishan & Luc (MJBAIL) have decided to go dry in July and help raise some funds in support of Luca & his family.
The Dry July platform unfortunately does not allow you to directly donate to individuals, which is what we'd most like to do. So our solution with his father Noodle's (Justin) blessing was to create a GoFundMe page, with all the funds raised given directly to the family, to provide them with a little peace of mind during this already uncertain time and help cover any additional/unforeseen costs and expenses.
With the current climate, we haven't been able to visit our little buddy and we feel this is a way to show him we haven't stopped thinking about him and that we will continue to rally around him. We each have set ourselves a target goal to raise a $1000 each. We know some of you may not know Luca personally, but we hope that you can still get behind the cause and support us support our little guy.
Any amount will go a long way. Should you insist on any member of MJBAIL breaking a specific day of dry July to enjoy a beverage with them, you can purchase a “BAIL out” ticket for a minimum of $150.
