Hello everyone,
As many of you are aware, my mom is currently in the fight of her life battling pancreatic cancer.
While both her and the rest of my family are not looking for any donations, I thought it might be a healthy goal to undertake dry February to raise funds for the Canadian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
To further outline the goal, I myself will be going dry in (No alcohol) for the remainder of February.
While I don't expect everyone else to also join me, I will challenge everyone to use this month to pursue some form of personal growth. Be it starting a new routine, trying a new hobby, cutting a negative behavior out of your life or really just doing something positive for yourself, no matter who you are, you can always treat yourself a little better. If you do, leave a comment on this page so I can pass the positive energy on to my mom :)
As we are working towards the goal of $2000, any donation would be very much appreciated, even if it is $5 or 10$, as this will help our country to develop the technologies and treatments required to combat this aggressive form of cancer. Please like and share around to your friends and fam so we can make that goal happen.
If anybody has any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me through this page. The donations will be directly deposited into the charity's account at the end of the month. So let's all come together to reach the goal of $2000. If anybody needs tax receipts, as I believe charitable donations are available as tax write-offs, please let me know, and I will figure out how to get that to you. Hope to see lots of support on this page. Love you guys. Cheers, Mitch.
More information about Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Canada has taken on one of the world's deadliest cancers. A disease with virtually no progress in survival in the past 40 years, pancreatic cancer has a 92% mortality rate. We are aggressively fighting it with investments in research to better understand this cancer and better treatment options. At the same time, we are working to educate physicians about faster diagnosis and with patients/families to support them as they face the realities of this cancer in their lives.
