Miss Candy, as she's affectionately known as at Jefferson Lakeside, has been with JLCC for almost 20 years as Housekeeper and helper to all departments. She is never at a loss for words and has never met a stranger.
Sadly, in mid December, Candy suffered a fall caused by a stroke. Since her hospitalization, she has begun physical therapy to regain mobility of her right side. The latest issue has been her eyesight.
All of us here at Jefferson Lakeside want to help her as much as we can. By raising funds, we'll be able to help her move into a 1st Floor apartment, enable her to continue to afford medical treatment, and bring relief to her living expenses.
We do not know when or if she'll be able to return to work. However, any funds donated will offer her a brighter outlook and achieve a more secure future.
