Help Ryan Keep His Home and Rebuild His Life
Hi, my name is Ryan Perez.
I’m asking for help to raise $12,500 — enough to cover three months of rent and get a modest, reliable car with insurance so I can finally move forward with stability and dignity.
Why I’m Asking
After a long stretch of instability and homelessness, I finally found a home that feels safe — a neuroaffirming space where I can rest, work, and function. My landlord waived the credit check, which made this home possible. If I lose it, finding another place will be nearly impossible right now.
But every month, I’m walking a tightrope — not knowing when income is coming, falling behind, and trying to recover from years of instability. I’m doing everything I can — creating, applying, reaching out — but I’m running on fumes.
I’m not looking for luxury. I’m looking for stability — a few months to breathe, plan, and rebuild.
What This Will Cover
$7,500: Three months of rent ($2,500/month)
$5,000: Used car + insurance (so I can commute to work, handle errands, and expand my opportunities)
Having a vehicle again will mean freedom — the ability to work consistently, meet clients, and get out of survival mode.
❤️ Why It Matters
I’ve worked hard to rebuild my life after being unhoused — but I’m still feeling the emotional and physical effects of it. The exhaustion. The anxiety. The constant uncertainty.
My 42nd birthday is coming up, and honestly — I just want a chance to start the next chapter from a place of peace instead of panic.
Your support gives me that chance — not just to pay bills, but to breathe, focus, and create a sustainable path forward.
Even small amounts make a big difference. If you’ve ever been through a season where you just needed a little time and space to get back on your feet — that’s exactly where I am right now.
With gratitude,
Ryan Perez
