Drunk driver causes the unthinkable!

My daughter and my grandson left my home on May 16th 2021 at night, after celebrating my birthday. My granddaughter stayed the night.
An hour went by and I received a text telling me they were in a head-on accident with à drunk driver and being transported by ambulance to the ER. I was devastated!
When I arrived at the hospital,I was surprised to find my grandson with just a bump on his chin. My daughter unfortunately was hurting all over her body with bruises. Tests were done and she was given à morphine infusion and some other pain medication before she was discharged with prescription for pain.
On her second day, she returned to the ER and à different pain medication was given . To this day, her hand trembles and she has difficulty taking that road home. I had to follow behind her in my car several times.
She recently saw à neurologist. Brain injury was her diagnosis. She was showing symptoms of forgetting simple things.
Doctor says she can't work right now because it was going to get worse before it gets better.
My daughter is à single Mom. Her car is totalled and she was going to return to work.
She has bills to pay and has used her savings to stay home to take care of her preemie baby for 2 years.
The insurance company for the drunk driver was offering hardly anything for her car that was totalled!
