On June 8th, BBP resident Chris Garcia fell off a ladder at his home, suffering a severe brain injury along with many other significant injuries. He is a father of five, with twins who just graduated and are on their way to the University of Alabama and Florida Atlantic University. He also has a son who is in middle school.

Chris’s brain injury will require a prolonged hospital stay followed by a lengthy stay in a traumatic brain facility, likely not on Long Island. This recovery process will take many months or possibly years.

As the sole provider for his family, Chris’s income will be devastated. We are doing our best to keep the family’s head above water.

Chris has always supported local BBP charities and events, including being a long-time coach in the BBPLL.
