November is Native american heritage month! for the past 4 years my family and i have organized a holiday gift drive in partnership with the Seattle Indian Center (SIC). The sic holds a special place for me, my family and thousands of people who use their facilities. the sic provides hot meals, a day center, showers, housing and more. Due to budget cuts years ago the SIC no longer formally hosts a holiday gift drive. For the past four years though, thanks to you all, that has been changing…

Every year since 2020 we have surpassed the previous year of fundraising. With that more families have been able to be supported during the Holidays. Additionally we have been able to purchase more specific gifts for kids like brand name clothing, video games, cooking sets, makeup, and all the good stuff kids, tweens and teens want! I will be collecting donations until 12/15, and once again using go fund me to collect donations.
