Daisy’s medical bills

Daisy is a 9 month old Maltese x Shitzu who found herself living on the streets in extremely poor condition. After spending a week in the pound not one single person came for her. She looked rough, unkept and kennel life was no place for this sweet girl.

After watching Daisy slowly shutting down and becoming sad that nobody loved her we couldn’t just sit and let the worst case happen to her so we bought her home.

As you can see from the photo Daisy has gone from rags to riches with her groom, however Daisy has come with some medical issues. Daisy has a severe ear infection which requires multiple vet trips, flushing and daily ear drops, she required surgery to flush her blocked tear ducts and also requires further surgery to treat a condition called Distichiasis which essentially is extra eye lashes that grow back into their eyes. Without this surgery Daisy could end up with permanent damage to her eyes and lose her vision.

It doesn’t stop there and the punches continue to roll for poor Daisy…… the vets discovered a heart murmur during her surgery which requires further scans and ongoing treatment.

All of this will come at a significant cost. As we all know animal rescues just don’t have the capacity or the funds to help and save every animal which is extremely heart breaking so we have started this go fund me to try raise as many funds as we can to cover Daisy’s immediate and ongoing treatment.

How could we possibly leave this little darling to suffer. Daisy appreciates any support given.
