Drowning in Medical Bills— A Mom in Need of Help.

hi friends! i’m reaching out with a humble heart during one of the most difficult times for myself and my family. i recently suffered an eye injury at a show , left me with a fracture on my orbital wall and that has impacted my ability to work and care for my family. i’m currently facing multiple medical bills related to emergency care, specialists, and follow-up treatments—and they keep piling, as well as past due balances for other medical treatment i received for a different issue. unfortunately, my insurance only covers a portion, and i’m left trying to figure out how to pay the rest. what makes this even harder is that im not just taking care of myself, i’m also a mom doing my best to provide for my child, and im the main caregiver for my own mother, who is also battling ongoing health issues. her medical bills are a growing weight on my shoulders, and im struggling to keep up with everything on a limited income. my mom doesn’t work, my dad barely has any work at the moment due to the current administration, things are difficult for us. its hard to ask for help, but ive reached a point where i can’t do this alone. any support you can offer, no matter how small will go directly toward, my medical bills, utilities, rent, my child’s needs during my recovery and my mom’s medical bills. thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and for your kindness during this hard time. from one human being to another, from one mom to many, your support truly means a lot to me. i love my people and my community. we got each other.
