Help a Hustler get to HustleCon! ;-)
I'm Josh McBroom.  I'm a dad, entrepreneur, nerd, leader, volunteer, poker player, reader, writer, Lego-builder, former-athlete, music-lover, movie-critic, and more.  You can find out more about me on my blog.
I need your help in getting to Hustle Con!
In everyday conversation, being a "hustler" is an insult- someone who takes advantage of others. In the entrepreneur & tech-startup scene, being a hustler is a GOOD thing! According to Hustle Con:
"Hustle Con is a conference focused on nontechnical startupers. We like to call these people hustlers. They’re the type of person who’s scrappy, shamelessly resourceful and frighteningly ambitious. The type of person who gets stuff done...even if they don’t know how to code. Hustle Con is about learning the specific skills and tactics needed to start and grow your startup from successful founders."
Hustlers accomplish what they set out to do, in spite of any & all obstacles they may face. Hustlers get shit done, and they don't quit.
I'm a hustler.
This page exists, and you're here reading it, because something needs doing. To maximize my chances of success in launching my startup, I need to get to Hustle Con.
And I need your help in doing so! My wife Amanda is INCREDIBLY supportive of my endeavors, but we're a 1-income household with a 14-month-old son. Moreover, with the recent departure of my co-founder, I find that 2 months of working hard on launching my startup (and time spent NOT earning a paycheck) has evaporated.
This setback won't deter me, but it does require me to ask for help; that's not a problem for a hustler! The worst that can happen when you ask someone for help is they say "no".
Your help in achieving my dreams would be greatly appreciated!
